Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 7 years of experience in facilities within a critical environment or working at a journeyman level.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or transmission operations.
  
• Experience with high-voltage electrical substations, or other mission-critical facility maintenance/operational fields.
  
• Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical systems used in data center environments (i.e., feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS/PDU/PMM/CRAC/air handling units, and chillers).
  
• Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems.
• Ability to learn and address issues as they arise.
  
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays and shift-based schedules as needed.
