Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Candidates will typically have 2 years of experience in network infrastructure acquisition and delivery, including dark fiber and transport systems.
  
• Candidates will typically have 1 year of experience in program management.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with vendor management, agreement negotiations, and measuring vendor performance.
  
• Experience in cloud networking, DWDM, fiber, interconnect, peering, IP network planning, or implementation role at an ISP, telecommunication operator, carrier, or CDN, encompassing technical, commercial, and legal areas of the above.
• Experience with network planning and engineering, including long haul and metro networks, network availability, and resiliency analysis.
  
• Experience working in a network vendor or telecommunications carrier environment.
  
• Knowledge of financial analysis, construction, project management, and carrier networking.
