Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in operations or business management, and vendor management.
  • 5 years of experience using analytics or applying project management tools to address business issues.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently in order to interact with Vietnam based clients and partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in quality assurance processes, including conducting audits, facilitating calibration sessions, and using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of digital advertising landscapes, including Google and engaged solutions.
  • Understanding of promoting best practice and techniques (e.g. objection handling, promoting).
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills, with the ability to influence Google and vendor stakeholders via clear, persuasive written and verbal presentations, training and updates.
  • Excellent sales performance analysis skills, with the ability to analyze sales activities and metrics, diagnose performance issues, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

The Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Vendor Partner teams help clients and agencies meet their business objectives wherever they are in their journey to digital maturity. Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to identify and create solutions that solve core business and marketing objectives across all types of customer organizations.

As a Vendor Performance Manager, you will act as a market manager for the entire managed small business portfolio. You will be the principal stakeholder for the vendor management team, influencing and holding them accountable to deliver excellent sales performance and quality for the customers and agencies within the portfolio, while also enabling site-program success with aimed support. You will be responsible for analyzing vendor performance and presenting key insights to Google sales leadership, supporting initiatives to improve GCS vendor operations, and sharing best practices with vendor management and Google teams across global markets and lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Enable vendor sales performance by monitoring weekly sales performance metrics and share key market performance insights with Google sales leadership.
  • Ensure vendor service quality against service level agreements and key performance indicators by conducting regular call audits, calibration sessions and quality reviews, sharing data-driven insights and feedback with vendor management and central Google teams.
  • Build trusted partner relationships with vendor sales management, communicating expectations for delivering against program specific agreement terms while providing appropriate support, best practices, and guidance.
  • Provide feedback and support to land vendor operations improvement initiatives led by central Google teams. Be the point of contact, provide Google product, tool, and process support and cascade central changes.
