Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with and managing internal and external partners/customers.
  • Familiarity and experience with the ad serving industry and Internet technologies, data integration projects, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL and Unix/Linux operating systems/commands.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience and comfort presenting technical materials to groups of any size and background.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Customer Solutions Engineers (CSEs) are client-facing engineers who deliver custom solutions and technical consulting to Google's biggest and more complex advertisers, advertising agencies, and other partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Google sales teams, internal stakeholders and clients to identify business opportunities that can be solved with technology.
  • Collect requirements, provide guidance and best practices to apply ad products and technologies to achieve advertisers' business goals.
  • Identify and solve client problems proactively and creatively through effective project management and consultation on technical setup.
  • Propose, architect, design and present prototypes, demos and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from engineers to marketing professionals using Google’s suite of products such as Google Ads, Google Marketing platform, and Google Cloud Platform.
