Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a Human Resource or Benefits role.
- Experience in project and program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Benefits or Compensation role.
- Ability to engage with clients (e.g., employees, HR stakeholders) to understand their needs and manage escalated benefit issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Client-service orientation, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data and insights in a clear and succinct manner.

In this role, you will join the India Compensation and Benefits team, and manage the delivery of Google’s benefits programs. You will partner with internal stakeholders, HR partners, and service providers to deliver benefits programs. You will manage several projects at once, combining data and feedback with the latest industry research to help make data-driven decisions that impacts Google in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities
- Support the India Compensation and Benefits (C&B) team in managing the Benefits portfolio for the market. This includes owning and managing identified benefit programs working closely with the India C&B Lead and team.
- Partner with stakeholders and colleagues in HR Operations to provide seamless delivery of programs, robust mechanisms to review program performance.
- Own relevant provider relationships, including overall performance metrics, uptake and financial metrics.
- Coordinate annual programmatic interventions such as budget planning, actuarial valuations, payments and invoicing as well as partnership with HR operations and stakeholders in managing benefits query support. Consult with employees on eligibility, coverage, and claims procedures.
- Contribute to the overall rewards communication and engagement strategy, including communications planning and execution. Ensuring benefit programs adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
