Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience in building executive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently, as it is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local and regional stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Experience managing complex, partnerships and promoting digital advertising solutions.
- Understanding of diverse cultures and being comfortable working with global teams.
- Demonstrated thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assess performance and ability to develop insights to capture opportunities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
About the job
Many of our advertising clients rely on agencies to plan, execute, and manage their marketing activities and advertising campaigns. The Agency team is responsible for empowering these clients to achieve their marketing and advertising goals through agency partnerships. This involves collaborating directly with both agencies and advertisers, while also helping agencies enhance their capabilities to better serve their clients.
You are a trusted advisor and competitive promoter who maintains a focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer. You will help entrepreneurs individually and broadly build their online presence and grow the businesses and grow the unique needs of advertising companies. You will collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends and also create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage partnerships with entities of all sizes.
- Develop cross-product area partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet broader goals across changing industries.
- Serve as the relationship manager for our current existing agreements. Help realize and optimize value from these partnerships while building long-term relationships.
- Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
- Own and strengthen executive-level agency relationships through key C-level meetings, quarterly reviews, and speaking engagements.
