Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with influencing executive stakeholders and management.
  • Knowledge of business, digital advertising and product knowledge in Mobile and Apps.
  • Ability to thrive and make decisions in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to work in collaboration and energize those around you towards a common goal and convey complex issues clearly.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and Chinese fluently to support client relationship management in the region.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, communication, written and presentation skills.

About the job

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role , you will be responsible for driving complex, cross-functional Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and initiatives collaboratively. You will be assigned to critical Product Areas (PA) which will include: Regulatory readiness, Third Party program design and management, Market insights and tracking

You will play a critical role working across multiple Regional Product Leads to structure complex problems and bridge together individual product areas into cohesive strategies, programs and strategic perspectives. You will design and implement key operational processes for your domain area and help Product GTM leadership facilitate executive discussions.

You will leverage your capabilities in problem structuring, hypothesis testing, insight generation, Programme management and operations management to develop clear and actionable strategies to accelerate growth of Google’s critical products, features and programs.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Work across different product owners to structure business problems as well as develop and orchestrate Go-to-Market strategies to capture opportunities.
  • Gather data and conduct analysis supporting hypotheses that will support executive team discussions and generate actionable insights.
  • Provide analysis, thought leadership and strategic perspectives, help build problem structuring and executive communication that can be utilized for business planning within the broader team.
  • Engage and influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners to obtain support for product activation programs and strategies.
  • Design and implement operational processes within your aligned domain.
