Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in the public sector and regulated industries.
- Experience driving cross-functional programs in multiple time zones and customer markets.
- Experience working in Product Management, e.g. full stack software products, hardware, and value add services such as databases, AI/ML.
- Experience operating in a growing environment and scaling new and emerging products.
- Experience with global compliance frameworks and accreditation (e.g., FedRamp High, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, AU-ISM, etc.).

Google Distributed Cloud (GDC), is a portfolio of fully managed hardware and software solutions that extend Google Cloud’s infrastructure and services. With Google Distributed Cloud, customers will be able to migrate or modernize applications and process data locally with a set of Google Cloud services for databases, machine learning and AI, data analytics and container management. In addition to first-party services, customers can leverage third-party services from popular vendors in their dedicated environment.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. Responsibilities
- Identify technology and AI-driven strategies to improve governance, risk and compliance efficiency (e.g., repositories and query, and information orchestration tools).
- Drive compliance program, strategy and tactics for GDC in public sector and regulated enterprise markets.
- Gather compliance requirements from various public sector customers, regulated industry, and related supply chains.
- Work cross-functionally with GDC go-to-market, product management, and engineering to support expansion of partner and customer programs.
- Manage compliance PRDs, accreditation problem statements, roadmaps and communication vehicles, and compile GDC compliance insights and feedback to infuse learnings into the organization.
