Minimum qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or post secondary or training experience with a focus on subjects in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related fields.
  • Experience in cloud computing technologies in the public sector.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12-14 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Interest in the public sector or technology industry.

Join us for a unique 12-14 week paid internship that offers personal and professional development, an executive speaker series, and community-building. In this role, you will play a role in the sales organization. In collaboration with your assigned sales team, you will identify, qualify, and nurture Google Cloud computing opportunities. You will gain an understanding of how our solutions solve problems related to digital transformation for our customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$109,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis: Analyze trends in federal civilian agencies' cloud adoption, identify key decision-makers and influencers, and assess competitive landscapes.
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies: Contribute to creating and refining strategies for specific Google Cloud solutions targeted at federal civilian agencies, considering their unique needs and challenges.
  • Assist in the creation of sales and marketing materials: Develop presentations, white papers, or other collateral that effectively communicate the value proposition of Google Cloud to federal civilian agencies.
  • Participate in customer meetings and engagements: Shadow business development managers in meetings with federal civilian agencies to understand customer needs and contribute to solution development.
