Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in solution-based selling, advertising, consulting, digital marketing, or business development.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • Experience in mentoring Account Managers to drive business performance.
  • Experience in advertising sales (e.g., television media sales house, or digital participant) or in advertising buying (e.g., on the client side, or at a media agency).
  • Knowledge of Google ads solutions, especially Search Ads and YouTube Ads.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following industries, (e.g.,Telco, Energy Utilities, Banking, Insurance, Consumer Healthcare, etc).
  • Knowledge of linear advertising or advanced advertising.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Industry Manager within Large Customer Sales (LCS), you will work with the advertising industry to identify and enable long-term opportunities for one or more customers by driving joint business plan development, account-level strategy, and annual activation plans and developing new customer relationships and new business growth streams. You will contribute to delivering business strategy development, pitching, customer relationship growth, and opportunity. You will work cross-functionally to support customer growth, align on opportunity, project timelines, goals, and ensure One Google solutions are presented to customers. You will develop customer relations, and engage in community contributions to help and sustain our culture and operations, making Google a better place to work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide omit selling through data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to clients.
  • Drive business growth by owning the construction and execution of joint business plans with clients to achieve pre-defined, time bound, and measurable goals for their business success.
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with our customers by partnering with them to understand their business and marketing objectives and help define where and how Google can play a role in achieving them by allocating Google’s internal resources in the most optimized way.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within an organization to drive growth.
  • Plan case studies of campaigns, in order to share insights with customers.
