Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, business development, business operations or account management.
  • 3 years of recruiting experience at an agency or in-house recruiting team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of full cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting.
  • 6 years of experience closing applicants and negotiating complex compensation packages leveraging experience participating for talent.
  • 6 years of experience in the execution of technical recruiting or related technical experience.
  • Experience leading projects.
  • Canada market experience.

As a Recruiter at Google, you'll play a pivotal role in building diverse and talented teams across Canada. You'll own the full recruitment cycle for a wide range of primarily non-technical roles across Canada, from sourcing top applicants to closing successful hires. This involves creating and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders throughout the region, acting as a trusted advisor on recruitment best practices, and tailoring your approach to the needs of each market and position.

In this role, you'll play a key role in deepening our relationships in Canada, partnering closely with executive stakeholders to understand their talent needs and ensure Google's continued success in the market. Your expertise will also extend to utilizing data to inform your decisions and drive continuous improvement in our recruitment processes. You'll advocate Google's commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring we build teams that reflect the richness of the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop talent by leveraging recruiting processes and tools, and gathering role requirements and recommendations.
  • Advocate for the applicants and create an excellent experience, supporting applicants assessment, evaluating skills and client needs, and driving the interview and offer process.
  • Influence hiring managers on their hiring strategy and provide status updates on open roles.
  • Manage recruiting initiatives to meet established goals. Improve the applicant, new hire, hiring manager, and recruiter experience.
  • Partner with key business, staffing, and hiring stakeholders to build solutions for diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
