Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in contract management, legal, or procurement roles, with a focus on overseeing the agreement life-cycle.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certifications in Contract Management, Business Law, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing extended workforce agreement functions or tasks, and overseeing and managing the performance of extended workforce functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with these requirements throughout the agreement lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in using contract management software and tools to streamline and automate contract management processes.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management.
  • Ability to manage agreements and collaborate effectively with legal teams to optimize agreement processes, including negotiation and issue resolution.

Within the Google Procurement Organization, you will be responsible for providing scaled operations support and bringing excellence to Google-wide sourcing, supplier, and contract management.

In this role, you will aim to value Google to reinvest in what matters most. You will do this by bringing velocity, efficiency, and security to buying at Google, while partnering across Google to deliver solutions fit for purpose. You will represent the stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the agreement life-cycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
  • Identify and engage with external vendors or service providers to handle specific aspects of the agreement process.
  • Draft, review, and finalize agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support and assistance in agreement negotiations, terms clarification, and resolving issues in collaboration with outsourced partners.
  • Support management of relationships with agreement-related vendors or outsourced partners, ensuring alignment with agreement terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
