Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages(e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently, in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and PaaS.
  • Experience with LLM and Generative AI.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

This role is a 12-month paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.

As an Associate Customer Engineer, you will join our regional tech specialist team focused on Generative AI. In this role, you will play a key part in showcasing the power of Google Cloud's GenAI solutions to our customers. You will be responsible for developing compelling technical demonstrations, building workshop content to enable customers to leverage the latest advancements in the Large Language Model (LLM).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with regional GenAI expertise, build workshops that guide customers through the process of building GenAI applications on Google Cloud.
  • Develop and deliver engaging technical demonstrations, leveraging Generative AI and ML to build applications and enhance customer experiences.
  • Learn and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GenAI, Google Cloud products and services.
