Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization such as Design, Engineering, Product, and Marketing throughout the design process, creating end-to-end journeys, user flows, and wireframes for building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Experience crafting a product experience outlook and pitch, and design milestones resulting in product development and testing with the market.
- Ability to explore business landscapes seeking insight that makes excellent design while blending design decisions with business strategies, to meet organizational goals.
- A portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrate crafting usable digital interfaces.

As a User Experience (UX) leader, you help define and drive the future of Google design. You identify and set product strategy, envision complex UX ecosystems and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You possess a clear vision of the future of user experience and have the courage to pursue forward-thinking design.
In this role, you will apply your passion for brand, craft, and design fidelity to guide research and design processes, mentor talented members of your team, and collaborate with leaders of other UX and Engineering teams to create innovative experiences across all of Google’s products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
- Drive the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring that all designs are user-centered and meet the needs of our users.
- Lead design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.
- Develop conceptual models, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and leverage UX research to inform design decisions and validate concepts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of the problem space, explore strategic opportunities, and solve complex problems.
