Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL).
- 3 years of experience managing investigative projects.
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in scripting, statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Statistical Analysis System (SAS)), developing and managing metrics, and evaluating programs or products.
- 5 years of experience with designing experiments, developing statistical models, measurement, and identifying business opportunities.
- 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
- 1 year of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- Experience in data analysis, problem solving, machine learning, A/B testing.

Responsibilities
- Perform analysis utilizing tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python). Help to solve problems, narrow down options into the best approach, and take ownership of business problems to reach an optimal solution.
- Build new processes, procedures, methods, tests, and components with foresight to anticipate and address future issues.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business reviews with the cross-functional/organizational leadership team. Translate analysis results to business insights or product improvement opportunities.
- Build analysis and business cases to provide insights. Develop knowledge of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for product development.
- Influence across teams to align resources and direction.
