Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales or business development.
  • Experience in leading sales operations for enterprise-level accounts, online sales, and Google Ads solutions (e.g., Brand and Performance).
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in senior-level business development and client relationship building.
  • Experience networking in the digital or retail industry and in performance management and B2B communication.
  • Experience in sales/marketing or in digital business (e.g., agency, consultancy).
  • Experience in digital marketing with an understanding of Google advertising products.
  • Experience in media, with an extensive understanding of search advertising.
  • Excellent sales and servicing skills and proven success in solution-based selling.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and
industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with clients, agencies and their consultancies. Identify new budgets and develop solution-based pitches with branding core.
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid sales plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and sales presentations.
  • Represent the Retail Team at internal and external events and trade fairs, as well as advocate new product releases, internally and externally.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with the broader industry and to serve as an advocate at industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with major customers beyond ads business with the goal of extending relationships, increasing our client and agency network, and establishing relationships.
