Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

- Design, develop, and own key software components and features from ideation to deployment and long-term maintenance including working with modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) and backend systems.
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions. Identify and address technical debt and improve engineering practices.
- Take ownership of reliability, security, privacy, documentation, and testing strategies for your work, ensuring excellent production hygiene and support.
- Serve as a technical point-of-contact, collaborating with internal engineering teams, UX designers, and product owners to align technical direction ensuring delivery of new features.
- Identify problems and unmet needs, translating user insights into technical requirements to improve user experience.
