About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager for the Italian Brand and Reputation, Consumer Apps team, you will drive Google’s brand in Italy. You will be supporting the execution of go-to-market strategies and activities encompassing partnerships, events, media campaigns, content and influencer marketing. Your contribution will be to build the AI leadership among Opinion Formers and Businesses in Italy. As such, you will work with internal and external teams to bring marketing initiatives to life.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing initiatives to build Google’s position and brand narrative in the market, to drive engagement of Opinion Leaders and Institutional Stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for selected local activations and events contributing to their development, operational roll out and success with external creative/production agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Build content strategies to support the marketing and go-to-market strategy aimed at growing brand.
  • Coordinate EMEA activations for the Italian market, ensuring landing and relevance for the IT audience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with Government and Institutional Affairs, Comms, Legal and business to ensure the projects get maximum impact across the country.
