Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, supply/demand planning, operations management, or a related field.
- Experience with spreadsheet modeling, financial and decision analysis, and SQL.
- Experience with infrastructure finance.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Passion for technical infrastructure, and continual improvement.

The Core Finance team's mission is to help Core and Google make the best tech investment decisions. Core Finance partners with the Core team build the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. Core Finance is part of Google’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Core Capacity Planning teams to actively track and manage Core infrastructure resource spend.
- Develop and maintain monthly infrastructure operating expense forecast models and report month over month variances to forecast and annual plan.
- Identify and communicate potential financial pressures and reliefs to budget across Core’s infrastructure portfolio. Develop insights to help make informed decisions, support the tracking status, effectiveness, and likelihood of landing machine cost reduction initiatives.
- Help establish and refine/manage processes to delineate between volume-based cost pressures against operational inefficiencies.
- Enhance existing reporting to expand granularity and insights across standard and ML machine pools and Core business pillars.
