Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in internal and executive communications with cloud technology products or services.
  • Experience with Sales, Marketing or Go-To-Market teams.
  • Experience writing for and working with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs) or other executives.
  • Ability to communicate in English, Portuguese, and Spanish fluently, to support internal and external communications in LATAM.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on large events and projects that require cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience building and executing net new programs and managing them to scale.
  • Experience in video, graphics, or other multimedia.
  • Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion, while acting as an effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

About the job

As a member of the Executive and Internal Communications team, you will be part of a team which produces employee communications and events for Google executives. You will work with members of your internal client team on communications initiatives, projects and programs. You will support the work of the team to create strategic communications campaigns, come up with innovative ways to engage employees that are in tune with Google's culture, write communications, business update presentations and talking points. You will also collaborate with internal partners as needed across functions (PR, Policy, Legal, HR, Operations, etc.) and geographies. Responsibilities

  • Provide leaders with coaching to drive positive communications outcomes.
  • Drive creation of content across a variety of mediums and platforms (e.g., speeches, decks, talking points, events, podcasts), owning delivery of work related to projects.
  • Develop plans for cross-functional crisis and emergency communications, fielding reactive issues and helping find common ground, as needed.
  • Develop and drive execution of communications plans to achieve cross-functional business objectives (e.g., developing strategy, cadence, core themes, spokespeople).
  • Drive the development of and refine key messages for a variety of audiences, balancing transparency, and confidentiality.
