About the Team

Job Description
As the Global Mobility Tax Senior Associate, you’ll deliver a full range of global mobility services for your clients in a wide variety of industries – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with Global Mobility and Human Capital Service team members and provide high-quality services in the U.S. and globally because together is how we succeed.
From day one, you’ll be empowered by great technology, processes, and a collaborative and thoughtful team to continue to extend your technical knowledge, work across new projects, and provide excellent client service and help you achieve more confidently.
Your day-to-day may include:
Working directly with clients to provide high quality global mobility consulting and compliance services
Managing day-to-day delivery for a portfolio of clients, working closely with senior team members
Addressing, researching, and consulting on technical issues specific to employee payroll, compensation benefits, and global mobility taxes and preparing related written communications
Facilitating and participating in firm-wide training and communications relating to global mobility matters
Taking the lead on compliance season initiation processes and managing e-filing requirements
Other duties as assigned
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area; Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred, Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Payroll Professional
Minimum two to six years of applicable experience
Any of the Society of Human Resource Management qualifications including Professional in Human Resources, Senior Professional in Human Resources or Global Professional in Human Resources preferred
Experience with a Big 4, mid-tier firm, or law firm preferred
Experience with inbound and outbound employee relocation consulting preferred
Superior analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in individual tax consulting and compliance
Ability to effectively communicate cross border tax concepts to clients who are not tax specialists
Ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can travel as needed
The base salary range for this position in Chicago only is between $88,000 to $132,000.
