What You Will Do:

The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides interns with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of Guidehouse clients and research reports. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.

Highlights of the Guidehouse Internship Program include:

  • Learning & Development Sessions (both E-learning & Instructor-Led)

  • Performance management, including developing goals and holding Mid-Point and Final Evaluations

  • Networking & Social Activities and Events

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern Event

  • Intern Speaker Series

  • Collaborative Group Projects

Guidehouse’s Communities, Energy and Infrastructure professionals collaborate globally with utilities and energy providers, large corporations, NGOs and the public sector to create sustainable, resilient communities and infrastructure.

Intern Research Associate responsibilities include authoring research reports and briefs, creating quantitative models and forecasts, interacting with clients and the press, authoring one or more articles for industry publications, delivering presentations, and contributing to consulting engagements. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate thought-provoking and original analytical findings to a client base that includes energy companies, technology vendors, service providers, the investor community, industry organizations, and government agencies. Additional responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Collecting, synthesizing, and translating information from varied sources into cohesive commentary on the market size potential and impacts of technology trends

  • Authoring and supporting research reports, white papers, and other professional literature for a variety of audiences within the transportation and mobility sector


What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years

  • Minimum Degree Status Required: Graduating with an undergraduate or advanced degree in 2025 or later

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Kingdom

  • No sponsorship is available for this position


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Degree Majors Preferred: environmental science, sustainability, business, economics, engineering and/or related majors

  • Exceptional writing skills

  • Solid quantitative analysis, ability to create forecasts in Excel using assumptions gleaned from primary research and existing infrastructure databases

  • Strong secondary research/information discovery and aggregation skills

  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence

  • Experience dealing with clients and delivering high-quality and responsive client service/international client experience preferred

  • Technology market research / industry analysis experience is strongly preferred

  • Excitement about delving into the energy sector
