Guidehouse IT is working towards a new operating model and strategic direction, as part of this change, we are creating senior leadership roles that will align to critical corporate function and business functions.
This role will be aligned to the Human Capital (HC) function and work closely with our Chief People Officer and the other HC leadership team members. The Portfolio Lead roles are essentially mini-CIOs in their aligned functional area (in this case HR) and have full technology stack responsibility for bringing the digital capabilities to the next level in HR.
What You Will Do:
Reports to the CIO and will co-develop with the HC Leadership team, the strategic roadmap that will layout critical digital enablement development efforts
Ensures HR-related technology initiatives—from system changes to integrations and analytics—are aligned, sequenced correctly, and supported by the right IT teams and partners
Plays a single point of accountability for all HC and Resource Management initiatives on the IT side, so HC leaders don’t have to coordinate across multiple technology teams or vendors
Focuses on ensuring HC systems and tools, supported by IT, are aligned with how the organization actually hires, develops, and manages people—without unnecessary complexity or cost
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of prior relevant experience; OR 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Experience in the Service industry both from a front-line consulting and back-office perspective with a combination of operational or project leadership roles
Background in deploying Human Capital digital capabilities and preferably experience with Workday or other large system deployments in operational or resource management areas
Problem solving mentality with motivation to work at a pace consistent with senior leadership of private equity owned entities
Demonstrated capabilities in strategic planning and roadmap development
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience supporting technology operations, ideally in a client-services environment
Business process analysis and mapping
Demonstrated abilities and success with working in IT Project Management, Product Development or related field
Experience and knowledge of the Federal budget planning, justifications, and reporting cycle and associated requirements
