Summary

AI Studio India is seeking a Team Lead / Senior AI Engineer to own the hands-on delivery of individual AI use-cases from prototype through production. This role combines technical leadership with active development, ensuring rapid execution, high-quality code, and reliable deployment while partnering closely with the AI Solution Architect.

What You Will Do

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery of a single AI use-case from prototype to production
• Lead a team of 4–5 engineers with clear task allocation and delivery ownership
• Actively contribute to development across front-end, back-end, and AI integration layers
• Translate architecture into detailed engineering tasks and sprint plans
• Review and approve PRs while enforcing coding standards
• Collaborate closely with AI Solution Architect on design fidelity and execution
• Build GenAI components including RAG pipelines, APIs, and agent workflows
• Develop front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js as well as the backend services using Python or Java
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment across Dev, UAT, and Production
• Ensure logging, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Drive rapid prototyping and MVP delivery timelines
• Consult AI Solution Architect in matters of security, privacy, and compliance adherence, timelines, complexities and resolve technical issues

What You Will Need

• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering with AI/GenAI exposure
• Experience leading engineering teams in fast-paced delivery environments
• Strong front-end skills in React, Angular, or Vue.js and backend expertise in Python or Java with API and microservices experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure AI, AWS AI, or Google Vertex AI
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments
• Familiarity with containerization and scalable deployment practices
• Strong understanding of version control and PR workflows
• Ability to decompose complex problems into executable tasks
• Experience working and leading development in Agile teams
• Understanding of enterprise security and data privacy practices

What Would Be Nice to Have

• Experience in rapid prototyping and MVP-driven delivery
• Exposure to multi-agent systems or advanced GenAI architectures
• Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval optimization
• Experience with GenAI evaluation frameworks
• Experience working with global teams and stakeholders
