Role Summary

The AI & Data PMO Manager will serve as a strategic leader responsible for orchestrating delivery, governance, and adoption of AI & Data initiatives across the enterprise. This role blends PMO leadership, AI transformation, portfolio oversight, and cross-functional coordination.

You will support the AI & Data Capability PMO in managing the AI & Data portfolio, establishing core capability foundations, and maintaining the India-specific AI & Data knowledgebase. You will assist with resource planning, budget tracking, knowledge management and expenditure management across the capability.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI & Data Portfolio & PMO Leadership

  • Help oversee the AI & Data portfolio across Segments, Solutions, and Platforms related to India operations.
  • Track milestones, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and value realization across programs.
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, reports, and insights for leadership.

2. Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Act as the connective layer between AI Development teams, Data Engineering, Data Visualization, and AI Business Units in Guidehouse India.
  • Work closely with the AI & Data India Capability Lead and Managers while collaborating with India Technology Capability Leads and Managers.
  • Coordinate dependencies, manage risks, and ensure seamless communication across teams without formal authority.

3. Resource & Budget Management

  • Partner with Resource Management POCs to plan and allocate staffing across AI & Data staff in India.
  • Monitor investment budgets, track financials, and support fiscal accountability.
  • Identify resourcing gaps and support workforce planning.

4. Knowledgebase & Process Management

  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the AI & Data knowledgebase in Guidehouse India in conjunction with the Guidehouse US AI & Data knowledgebase.
  • Ensure documentation, standards, templates, and best practices are accessible and up to date.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance PMO operations and reporting efficiency.

5. Skills, Training & Capability Development

  • Coordinate skills assessments and identify capability gaps across AI & Data staff s India in conjunction with the U.S. counterparts.
  • Collaborate with India’s L&D and Change & Adoption teams on necessary trainings, include administrative trainings for capability development.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

6. Compliance & Regulatory Monitoring

  • Track emerging AI & Data regulations, summarize implications, and support internal dissemination.
  • Ensure AI delivery practices align with compliance, governance, and ethical AI standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 10 – 15 yrs of total experience
  • 5+ years in PMO, Program Mgmt., Business Ops or Transformation Office roles
  • Experience supporting Technology, Data, Analytics, AI or Digital Business
  • Exposure to consulting firms or GCCs preferred
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools such as Jira, Miro/Mural, Figma, or similar.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, synthesis, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with resource planning, budget tracking, and portfolio reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM).
  • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, ICAgile).
  • Experience in consulting or matrixed environments
  • Exposure to knowledge management systems and collaboration platforms
  • Experience leading AI transformation for mid-to-large organizations
