Job Description

Job Summary

Analyst, Media & Client Operations is an administrative position. The candidate is responsible for managing the maintenance associated with media buys across multiple channels (video, audio, digital, out of home & print), outlets and accounts.

The Analyst, Media & Client Operations acts as a liaison between the media team, finance team and vendors’ receivable departments and must ensure the timely reconciliation of media invoice discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has a passion for numbers, an analytical mind, and a solid sense of judgement. The candidate is also proactive and is results oriented.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolve media discrepancies
  • Work with vendors to gather affidavits not received in normal course
  • Work collaboratively with the Activation and Brand Strategy teams
  • Establish rapport with Media Buyers/Planners, Finance, Account Payables
  • Clear communication with internal departments
  • Issue updated internal Status Reports to Media Buyers/Planners, and Finance when necessary
  • Alert supervisor to any workflow issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate track of workload
  • Learn Horizon Media processes, systems, internal tools, and policies
  • Liaise with the Finance and Client Billing Specialist when required
  • Fulfill ad hoc requests for invoices, mostly in support of audits as required
  • Assist Sr. Analyst & Supervisor, Media & Client Operations in maintaining accurate billing for all client assignments
  • Additional duties as required based on team/client needs

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • ·Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • ·Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task
  • ·Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers
  • Ability to follow multi-step instructions
  • Resourceful; able to work independently
  • Familiarity with client estimate and reconciliation invoicing process as well as Adtraq (media operations system) an asset
