What You’ll Do

Help in the facilitation of partnership negotiations with media vendors from concept to completion, focusing on priorities of internal stakeholders (efficiencies, research, added value, education)

  • Evaluate investments across Horizon accounts to inform where Horizon should be focusing on partnership development.

  • Evaluate rates across client teams to ensure pricing parity.

  • Work cross-functionally with investment teams and partners to evangelize partnerships and educate teams on partner capabilities.

  • Develop marketing materials, supportive decks, POVs, and one-sheeters surrounding each partnership.

  • Serve as an internal advocate for HMI’s partnership approach and assist teams in partner evaluation.

  • Partnership Management / External Support

  • Act as liaison between partner leads and digital investment teams.

  • Organize regular trainings, business reviews, office hours, and events on behalf of partners to promote internal engagement.

  • Provide projections and investment tracking/reporting to partners on as needed basis.

  • Organize and aggregate investment projection trackers and delivered spend to track progress of partnerships throughout the year.

  • Collaborate with digital teams to gather feedback on partners and identify areas of improvement.

  • Assist with new business pitches by completing pricing exercises and collaborating with partners willing to provide new business support.

  • Interest and preliminary knowledge in Advanced TV, along with a basic understanding of what differentiates it in the market.

  • Comfort in working in a space that is very fast-moving and changes daily.

  • Positive attitude and innovative mind in tackling multiple projects with many potential avenues to success.

  • Personal drive to be a self-starter who will tackle projects without being directed to do so.

  • Handle proactive research and reporting needs for the National Broadcast team including the weekly, monthly, and quarterly ratings trends across a variety of video environments.

  • Stay abreast and informed of the latest changes in video measurement, providing updates to the team to keep them informed and armed.

Who You Are

  • Experience in digital and/or video required (1-2 year experience)

  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration, but also capable of working independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills—Ability to think on your feet

  • Strong analytical skills- ability to analyze raw data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights

  • Strong work ethic and highly organized—diligent, thorough, and attentive to detail

  • A self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple partner/publisher conversations simultaneously

  • Eager to learn, ask questions, and grow your career in digital advertising

  • A supporter of and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Passionate and curious about the evolving media space

  • Has previous media planning/buying experience with and understanding of the digital and/or video landscape

  • Comfortable participating in internal and external senior level meetings: Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A Big Picture Thinker willing to go deep to research and understand the latest video and digital advancements.

  • Organizational / Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers

  • Extremely confident in managing details to multiple tasks and projects.

Certificates, licenses and registrations

Bachelor’s Degree required

Salary Range

$62,400.00 - $70,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
