Job Summary

We are seeking an eCommerce Associate Director of Channel Management to oversee Amazon and Retail Marketplace accounts. This role will partner with clients to support sales, revenue and profit planning. The ever-changing Commerce landscape is evolving at a pace that demands that you must possess adaptability, quick-thinking, and a thirst for rapid-fire learning. Night Market is at the forefront of defining what (and how) our clients need to succeed and innovate across all facets of commerce, and this individual will be instrumental in supporting and driving the promotion of that mission.

The Night Market Associate Director of Channel Management will be responsible for leading the management of Retail Marketplace (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Ulta, Macy’s, etc.) campaigns and merchandising and logistical operations across Night Market’s Client List. This role will lead the day-to-day Channel Management services, including Product Detail Page (PDP) optimization, Retail SEO, SKU and PDP updates, Forecasting, Consolidation of 3P Listings, Ticket Creation & Management, Variant Strategy & Management, Promotional Strategy and Content Score Monitoring & Optimization. They should be comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively while simultaneously delivering best-in-class work across Retail Marketplaces.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with the Sr. Director Channel Management to implement services such as Product Detail Page (PDP) optimization, Retail SEO, SKU and PDP updates, Forecasting, Consolidation of 3P Listings, Ticket Creation & Management, Variant Strategy & Management, Promotional Strategy and Content Score Monitoring & Optimization across Retail Marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with leadership to share industry POVs.
  • Monitor, tools, opportunities, and applications within Channel Management, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals.
  • Oversee a Specialist. Train, mentor and project manage this Specialist to grow and succeed in the role.
  • Collaborate and partner closely with clients to understand business challenges, clearly articulate needs, and project manage accordingly.
  • Cross train teams on your skillset to continue to grow the practice within Night Market.

Who You Are:

You will need to have a thorough understanding of Amazon digital metrics and media strategies, as well as a track record of successfully building Amazon Seller programs for clients. You will also have in-depth experience with other retail marketplace management, like Walmart, Target, Macy’s and Ulta. A strong business acumen and superior client service skills are a must.

  • Deep Understanding the costs implications of shipping, warehousing, returns, etc. Building the business plan (excel) to deliver a successful business on key retailer marketplaces.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling marketing campaigns from concept to completion for both endemic and non-endemic campaigns
  • This candidate must have strong analytical skills, be able to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment, have meticulous attention to detail, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • This candidate should have experience in Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Seller Center, and Target Plus.

Years of experience: 5+ years management of and working within Amazon platforms and within retail media networks/marketplaces

Salary Range

$120,000.00 - $135,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
