Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading strategy development, planning tactics and overall administration of client needs as it relates to OOH media campaigns. Should act as both a leader and a manager acting as the day-to-day liaison between clients and internal and external Agency partners. The candidate will manage the support team in planning and implementation will lead Out of Home media strategy, development, analysis and execution of strategically focused OOH plans, as well as manage Brand Team, Client and Vendor relationships for assigned group of accounts. Manage OOH strategy team on all phases of traditional and programmatic planning, buying and post buy processes
Oversee development and confidently present of strategically focused plans and recommendations with sound rationale and listen/adapt based on feedback
Build and manage strong Brand Team, Vendor and Client relationships
Enhance OOH campaigns and attribution through the use of 1st & 3rd party data, when applicable
Participate in strategy development and brainstorming meetings with Brand Teams and Clients
Work with Brand Team to insure plans are on strategy and meet Client objectives
Negotiate OOH media buys, and assist Supervisors and Strategists on team in their continued development of negotiation strategies and tactics
Be an advocate for all HMI proprietary platforms (AMP, blu) and internal turnkey services (e.g. OOH creative/print production services across brand teams and clients
Stay current with the evolving landscape and on the advances in technology, innovation, digital OOH area, measurement and research as the industry advances forward
Participate in new business pitches
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Client(s) business objectives, advertising needs etc.
Manage workload and Client initiatives both up (internal senior management) and down (to junior team members)
Ability to integrate and work successfully with various Agency teams, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
Willingness to attend business related functions during evening hours 1 – 2 times a month
Participate in learning opportunities to further leadership capabilities, management techniques, and productivity
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise OOH Supervisors and their respective Strategist teams’ day to day workloads, as well as monitor accuracy and professionalism in work produced
Participate as needed in the overall management of department operations
Act as a role model and mentor to junior team members, helping them to grow professionally
Inspire creativity within the department and teach media planning principles to junior team members
Facilitate OOH department goals amongst team
Knowledge and Skills Required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience planning & buying in all OOH media sectors (traditional digital, digital placed, cinema, and experiential formats), with at least 3 years at supervisory level
Strong knowledge of OOH DSP platforms (co-managed) – Vistar, Ubimo, Place Exchange, The Trade Desk, Adomni, etc.
Strong negotiation skills across markets and formats
Strong proficiency in the programmatic space
Solid relationships with all major OOH traditional media vendors and programmatic DSP partners
Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize open items for self and staff
Ability to integrate and work successfully with various Agency teams, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem solving abilities
Strong understanding of basic media planning terms and concepts such as GRPs, ROI, reach and frequency
Expert understanding of Geopath OOH Measurement methodology, and high comfort level with utilizing as part of planning process

Salary Range
$105,000.00 - $130,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
