Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager, Digital Investment & Activation, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in media planning and buying across multiple channels, including SEM, display, online video, programmatic, and social.
This role aims to drive performance and innovation at the planning and campaign levels, delivering optimal digital media opportunities for our clients. Additionally, the Account Manager will help manage the Digital Investment team’s workflow, streamlining processes and approaches.
Execution/Optimization (30%)
Oversee the execution of client campaigns, including managing junior-level resources.
Implement and supervise the timely execution of digital campaigns, including social, display, online video, and programmatic.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize media spending and improve effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Ad Ops department as needed.
Reporting & Analytics (15%)
Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Create compelling documents with distilled outputs and actionable insights.
Team Management/Training (15%)
Assist the VP and Associate Director with team training and supervision.
Contribute to team members’ development plans and provide ongoing feedback.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital media best practices.
Relationships (20%)
Liaise with clients to provide strategic recommendations and analyses.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and act as a valued digital resource.
Present campaign strategies, performance, and results to key stakeholders, including senior management.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
Planning (20%)
Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, target audience, and KPIs.
Analyze client briefs and market research data to develop strategic digital investment plans.
Identify the most effective digital media channels and tactics to reach the target audience and maximize campaign performance.
Develop media budgets and allocate resources effectively across different digital channels and campaigns.
Knowledge and Skills Required
1 to 2+ years of digital media planning and buying experience.
Experience planning and running SEM and social media campaigns, with a comprehensive understanding of each platform (Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, etc.).
Experience with display and online video-based activity or strong familiarization with these formats.
Strong understanding of programmatic capabilities and targeting.
Leadership and supervisory experience in overseeing and developing media professionals.
Ability to manage a team of 2+ people at multiple levels.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both in person and in writing.
Exceptional analytical skills to measure the success of digital programs and recommend optimizations.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Co-train and co-manage the Buyer, Assistant, and Analyst alongside the Associate Director.
Contribute to team members’ development plans and provide ongoing feedback and identify areas for improvement.
