What You’ll Do
Review and vet commercial content for any clearance and potential legal issues/provide risk assessment analysis to internal teams and clients via Creative Clearance Tracker
Maintain Clearance Playbook, by network, for internal and external distribution, including BS&P Network and FCC Guidelines
Coach team members on Clearance Process (submissions, feedback, negotiation practices, etc.)
Ensure all creatives (rough-cuts, final slated cuts, Ad-IDs, ISCIs) are properly identified, summarized (per Brand Solutions teams requirements) and invoiced via 3rd party partners (Media Qurator, MediaVu and distribution vendors)
Manage team’s scheduling of Traffic Onboarding Training Calendar for Traffic & Clearance Department
Manage the trafficking of all client materials for Linear TV, Terrestrial Radio spots airing on various platforms (Networks/Local Stations/VOD/Addressable/Terrestrial Radio, etc.)
Create/generate Traffic Instructions and Distribution orders
Liaison and point-of-escalation contact for incorrectly booked media and spots airing incorrectly
Review clients’ creatives for potential Clearance concerns and submit to Linear/Radio partners
Manage workflows between creative agencies, distribution vendors, HMI internal teams and external partners
Train and coach Traffic Coordinators, Traffic Freelancers and HMI Brand Solutions Team Members regarding Traffic/Clearances workflows, policies and procedures
Create and maintain station client relationships/update internal documents (partners’ contact info., BS&P Guidelines, FCC Guidelines) accordingly
Manage all commercial continuity processes, as well as workflows between commercial delivery services
Research and analyze discrepancies to provide expedient resolutions
Review, research and resolve Billing discrepancies
Prioritize and manage completion of all assigned projects by VP, Director Traffic & Clearances and Associate Director, Traffic
Job Summary
The Senior, Manager Traffic will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the daily operations of the Traffic and Clearance functions for Broadcast networks/local stations, training and development, supervision of workflows between creative agencies, distribution vendors, networks, Traffic, while ensuring quality control.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up
Manage daily operation of team functions for maximum team efficiency; supervise workflow, create and delegate job assignments and assume final responsibility for quality control
Manage all Network, Syndicated and Local stations program changes and workflow to ensure that all planned media is executed and air without error
Prioritize and manage completion of all assigned projects
Coach and train team members
Who You Are
Proven broadcast professional and leader with a proven record in traffic and management. Performance driven and results oriented with excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills. Experience trafficking and handling Clearance for an Entertainment client.
Required, Preferred Skills & Experience
4-7 years of traffic management
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Undergraduate degree in related field
Organized and detailed manager of people and resources
Solid understanding of broadcasting as it relates to Sales, Traffic, Programming and Accounting
Pro-active, conceptual, logical, and analytical thinking
Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas to all levels of management with confidence, to facilitate necessary changes.
Ability to work well against deadlines, organized and able to maintain integrity with personal accountability
Understanding of Traffic/Clearance Department demands and work hours
Good sense of humor

Salary Range
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
