Scope
Our Financial and Valuation Advisory (FVA) business’ Dispute Resolution Consulting (DRC) team is led by financial experts who bring unique value to counsel and their clients on valuation and accounting/forensic matters related to disputes in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Our services include case assessment, strategy design, complex financial modeling, damage theory formulation, settlement assistance, and expert witness testimony in a variety of legal matters.
An experienced Vice President or Senior Vice President position is available in our DRC practice. You will play a key role on our client engagement team, which are typically comprised of a Managing Director or Director as the engagement principal, a Vice President or Senior Vice President as the engagement manager, an Associate, and one or more Financial Analysts.
Responsibilities & Deliverables

Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables for client engagement teams
Build complex excel models to assess cash flows of a company and/or value specific securities specific to litigation and damages
Present analyses and conclusions internally to engagement principal and possibly attend meetings with clients’ senior management, Board of Directors, and retained counsel
Participate in client diligence meetings
Direct and supervise associates and financial analysts
Assist with business development initiatives
Develop, maintain, and expand your network of prospects to build a pipeline of revenue producing relationships
Assist with conceptualizing and developing project approach, methodologies, and analytical frameworks
Perform complex valuation and economic damages analyses.
Basic Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
Seven to ten years of professional experience at an accounting or consulting firm (in the valuation/economic damages group) or a valuation firm
Excellent knowledge of finance, valuation, and accounting, and keen analytical capabilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
Intellectually curious and self-motivated
Exceptional work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
Recognized credential(s)s (e.g., ASA, ABV, CBV, CFA)
Salary Range
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$145,000.00-$225,000.00Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the service line and location where this position may be filled.
