Scope

The ideal candidate for the Telecom Analyst position is passionate about providing exceptional support to HL employees and team members. They are dedicated to resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and productive experience for all users. This candidate possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills, allowing them to address user inquiries, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and provide clear and concise solutions. They are proactive individuals who take initiative in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the communication management process.

In this Telecom Analyst role, you'll provide comprehensive user support in all aspects of mobile communications environment. You’ll deliver assistance in person (when available), over the phone, and remotely. Support will extend across all Houlihan Lokey locations, collaborating with other IT support staff ensuring a seamless IT experience for our teams.

Responsibilities

  • Mobile device orders and tracking – work with our vendors to order devices, track existing inventory, and assign assets to users.

  • Set up corporate based Apple IDs for Houlihan Lokey users.

  • Coordinate with local IT service desk personnel to issue devices and onboard users to the LeapXpert platform.

  • Review reports and assist with tracking users who are not compliant with using their assigned communications device.

  • Review and allocate monthly telecom invoices to ensure the charges are correct and charged to the correct entities.

  • Provide in-person and remote support focused on mobile devices and the capture of off-channel communications.

  • Provide end-user support for wireless connections involving MI-FI/Personal Hotspots, or WWAN network cards.

  • Participate in regular staff meetings with other IT personnel and communicate any issues that concern other department members.

  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a related discipline, plus two or more years directly related work experience and/or training; or five or more years directly related work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Thorough understanding and hands-on knowledge of hardware and software installation and problem resolution.

  • Ability to carry out duties with a minimum of direction and supervision and be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily.

  • Strong communications skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a financial institution environment is highly desirable.

  • Previous work experience with Apple mobile devices, InTune, and Entra preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.

  • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and or schedule form.

  • Multi-lingual fluency is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$26.00-$29.00

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
