Scope
We are looking for an experienced Talent Mobility and Resource Specialist to join our Human Capital Group in London. In this role, you will support the Global Talent & Mobility Manager and Employment Tax Director with a variety of tasks related to international assignees, transferees, and contingent workers.
Responsibilities
As a Talent Mobility & Resource Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- supporting the global mobility manager to deliver a high standard, tailored, global mobility service that is efficient, responsive, cost effective and thoughtful. Day to day tasks will include:
- drafting transfer and assignment documentation
- updating and maintaining the company’s assignment management system to deliver a seamless service delivery to employees and internal stakeholders, data management, and efficient and accurate reporting.
- collaborating closely with internal human capital groups to communicate case statuses and updates.
- working closely with global third-party vendors including tax, immigration and relocation vendors to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- initiating immigration cases to immigration vendors for all new visas, visa renewals and terminations for all transferring and assigned employees.
- ensuring that compliance requirements related to immigration are accurately tracked and reported on and ensure data integrity in systems.
- managing and tracking visa quota requirements for specific locations.
- reviewing tax and immigration invoices and allocate for processing.
- providing clean compensation data to stakeholder teams for processing of allowances, costs and other relocation related items for processing and reporting through modified payroll.
- maintaining and refreshing documents related to global transfers and assignments.
- coordinating UK business traveller returns in conjunction with tax vendor for review by the employment tax director.
- collaborating on projects connected to HR data cleaning, system testing, template reviews, and document management.
- the coordination of the Contingent Worker processes in the UK and EMEA. Tasks will include:
- acting as the initial point of contact and coordination for internal stakeholder parties to ensure a compliant process is followed, appropriate departments are alerted and supporting documents are correctly stored.
- Ensure that details of contingent workers are inputted into the HRIS accurately.
- Review and make improvements to the process as appropriate, implementing compliance declaration procedures,
- Monitor and track contingent workers and coordinate with internal stakeholders to process.
- Work with the talent team to ensure temporary agency terms are up to date and agreements are tracked.
- Coordinate EOR employee details with third party vendor, payroll, human capital operations, line managers and other internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience in a Global Mobility or HR operations role for at least 3 years.
- Familiarity of HRIS, mobility management systems and digital tools for tracking compliance.
- An awareness of global mobility compliance, particularly focused on global immigration, tax, social security, mobility compensation, and risk management.
- A high customer service understanding and orientation.
- Ability to build trust and rapport to develop productive and trusted relationships internally and externally.
- Strong organisation skills and proficiency in planning and tracking timelines.
- Strong Excel and data analytical skills.
- Ability to assess risks, interpret data, make informed decisions and remain calm and resilient during complex relocations.
- Eager to learn with an initiative-taking mentality. Ability to anticipate issues before they arise and offer solutions.
- Interest or experience in working with diverse cultures. You must be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to support people adapting to change.
- Experience with working with and managing external vendors and delivery of services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
