Responsibilities

This internship is an excellent opportunity to work alongside investment bankers in a stimulating environment on M&A advisory assignments for clients in various industries.

The team’s engagements principally include M&A transactions (Sponsor, Public and Private), with a strong focus on sell-side transactions. As a dedicated member of our transaction team, you will be responsible for supporting these assignments.

Throughout your internship you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year analyst, assisting in the preparation of materials for clients and conducting market, industry, and company analyses. Furthermore, you will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, and supporting the due diligence processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • You must either be an undergraduate or post-graduate student in your final year of study
  • Available to work 3 days per week, alongside studies
  • You will have a strong academic track record with 75+ WAM, preferably studying for a degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
  • Have an understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional language skills are also advantageous)
  • Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills
  • A demonstrated interest in M&A
  • An independent, solutions-focused mindset
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
  • Previous internship experience within investment banking and/or related fields is desirable
