Though we each have individual skill sets and responsibilities, the Marketing Design team operates as a distributed group of creatives. Partnerships between visual and content designers shift with projects so that we can stretch our thinking and apply our specific skills across the entire product platform. We strive to do the best work of our lives by creating design deliverables for integrated marketing efforts like Email, Social, Web, Display, In-Product, and Print with artistry, speed, creativity, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Be an Intuit Accountants brand expert. From the corporate brand to the smallest individual product, advocate for and maintain an adherence to correct usage and placement to ensure all our marketing elements are in compliance with our high standards of excellence.
  • Collaboratively partner with other visual and content designers on the creative team, to design marketing campaigns and elements that drive awareness and engagement and generate qualified leads that help move the business forward.
  • Use your motion design skills to develop animations for our outbound marketing efforts, including display animations for digital media, pre-roll videos for OTV/YouTube, light graphic animations for website, and GIF animations for email campaigns.
  • Develop close relationships with cross-functional marketing partners, both on the Segment (GTM and Product Marketing) side and the Digital (Paid Media, CRM and Web) side, to create a level of trust that allows for honest, passionate communication among all parties.
  • Work on multiple project workstreams with complex timelines at one time, using strong communication skills to manage expectations appropriately.
  • Be wildly conceptual by going broad in the discovery phase, work across teams with a multi-disciplinary understanding of design tools and techniques, and then narrow and iterate quickly based on experimentation and customer feedback.
  • Provide guidance on visual and motion design to cross-functional marketing partners, with design rationale and customer-backed insight for effective sell-through to senior leadership.
  • Be a catalyst for change. We are on a transformative journey with our product lineup, accelerating the adoption of our Attach product offerings as key to powering prosperity for our customers, and we want designers who can champion change.
  • Contribute to the creative strategy for the Intuit Accountants brand and individual products by learning from our customers and applying Design for Delight principles to innovate towards a solution.
  • Be a role model to other creatives on the team, offering tactical and strategic feedback regularly and consistently to all team members, coaching/mentoring support when needed, and celebrating the successes of the entire organization.
  • Apply an analytical mindset to your creative expertise and use design in ways that help drive business objectives based on shifting landscapes.
  • Show inclusive leadership with our cross-functional partners through collaboration, recognition of diverse opinions, curiosity and empathy toward others, and an awareness of personal blind spots.

Qualifications

  • Extensive (at least five years) experience in visual design.
  • Applied experience in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Proficient experience in motion design using tools like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Express, Lottie.
  • Experience in visual editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut, Apple iMovie.
  • An interest in, and experience with, visual generative AI tools, like Adobe Firefly.
  • Ideally, a background in Direct Marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in designing for email, preferably with nurture campaigns, and Paid Digital Media (Social, Display).
  • Experience working with, and within, design systems.
  • Deep knowledge of visual design principles and methods and how those apply across integrated marketing communications.
  • A curiosity for new ideas, and a commitment to gaining customer feedback to inform on rapid iteration and innovation to drive business results.
  • Effective communicator to teammates and cross-functional partners, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • A dazzling online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process.
