Job Overview

We are hiring an Audit Data Analyst to join Intuit's Platform Security Engineering team. The main purpose of this role is to prepare audit narratives for leadership review prior to an audit. They accomplish this by running applications to collect data, filling in the blanks of an existing audit narrative, escalating to existing leaders who will handle customization when necessary. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has some technical skills to run scripts and applications, and has a strong interest in learning Python scripting/programming, while being passionate about security and software engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Run already created scripts and applications to collect data
  • Author audit narratives/reports leveraging pre-existing templates and data
  • Escalate issues to relevant leaders when necessary
  • Map policy, control standards, and control requirements to AWS, GCP, and Azure resource types and determine the best way to implement those requirements
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency of narratives/reports
  • Interest in expanding automation capabilities (using Python scripting)
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools and techniques in automation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting) or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in audit data analysis, audit automation, or a related field
  • Experience with automated data collection tools and script development
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with audit processes and procedures
  • Understanding of and experience with Python scripting and GitHub is a plus

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $136,000 - 184,000, Southern California $122,500 - 165,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
