Responsibilities

  • Serve as the principle subject matter expert and thought-leader in Job Architecture, leading the ongoing application and enhancement of Intuit's job architecture framework to ensure it supports current and future strategic talent needs.
  • Lead the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of governance protocols for job architecture to ensure the framework remains relevant and robust over the long-term. This includes owning the processes, procedures, and supporting resources (including templates and tools) for ongoing job architecture and job inventory management.
  • Advise and work closely with partners in other Centers of Expertise (e.g., Talent Development, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Technology and others) to ensure integration of the job architecture with broader programs (including skills/competency frameworks, performance management, talent reviews, career management, succession planning, etc.).
  • Lead the design, refinement (as appropriate), and application of tools and processes for job review, evaluation, and leveling. Work closely with compensation partners to understand external trends and benchmarks for job leveling, titling, and compensation to ensure Intuit jobs remain well-positioned in the marketplace.
  • Conduct regular reviews of job descriptions, titles, and other job content to ensure accuracy and alignment with the job architecture. Collaborate with HR business partners and the talent acquisition team to ensure jobs/job postings are accurately defined and aligned with the job leveling structure.
  • Champion the use of technology to automate and streamline ongoing job architecture governance processes, such as approval workflows and analyses. Maintain accurate and up-to-date job architecture data and documentation.
  • Create compelling and easy-to-understand materials for the education of employees and leaders. Consult and advise leaders across the company to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of the job architecture.
  • Establish external partnerships and relationships to maintain deep knowledge about trends and best practices in job architecture, job management, and related programs and processes.
  • Participate in cross-discipline and cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert and thought-leader in Job Architecture.
  • Lead efforts to integrate the job architecture in support of merger and acquisition activities as appropriate. Support organization design initiatives by providing insights on job architecture implications.
  • Effectively manage change associated with driving the adoption of the job architecture and the framework for ongoing governance.
  • Perform other assignments as needed. For example, the person in this role may be asked to support the Total Rewards team in reward strategy development and execution; business consulting and advice; and/or employee/leader education.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in job architecture, and 10+ years of experience in compensation, talent management, and/or related HR functions.
  • Deep understanding of job architecture principles, job evaluation methodologies, organizational design principles, and the implications for broader people and talent programs.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing a job architecture framework or similar programs related to various talent processes.
  • Strong communication, presentation, written and visual storytelling, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong familiarity with Workday and other HR information systems.
  • Ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $188,000-254,500, Southern California $161,500 - 218,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
