Job Overview
Intuit’s Risk team is looking for a Senior Designer who is excited to create experiences and contribute to Intuit’s capabilities. This role requires a dynamic individual who is excited to deliver in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with a strong ability to go deep into the details, step back and connect the dots for a more strategic perspective across a variety of deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms
- Great storyteller, able to influence an audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal teams, partners and customers
- Turn visions into concepts, and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system
- Collaborate effectively with other designers, researchers, leadership/project stakeholders, program management, marketing, and other team members
- Prioritize work and multi-task well; Wear multiple hats, self-manage creative bandwidth and clearly escalate constraints
- Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs
- Deliver across a variety of artifacts. Visual communication, concept design, product design, prototypes, and production ready files
- Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- 4+ years of visual design experience, interaction design, product design, or related field
- Intimate knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping and other modern design tools
- Deep knowledge of user experience methods, ideation, storytelling, design frameworks, concept visualization,problem-framing skills and design principles
- Knowledge of technology-driven financial services is a plus
- Be able to clearly communicate with leaders and project stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research
- Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner
- Strong conceptual thinking and online portfolio available for viewing
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $148500-201000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
