Job Overview
The role of Head of Canada and LATAM, International Corporate Affairs and Public Policy is responsible for Intuit’s public policy, corporate affairs strategy and execution in the region. The successful candidate will devise and lead our engagement strategy with federal and local governments covering a wide variety of technology, financial services and tax policy areas.
This senior-level position will be a key strategist for corporate affairs for Intuit’s Consumer Group (CG) and Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) across these regions.
You will play a leading role to craft business strategy with government priorities and regulatory structures in mind. The role will also be a problem solver and issues manager, navigating a large organization to resolve internal and external issues as they arise.
Please note that candidates within the Greater Toronto Area and/or Greater Ottawa Area will be prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Oversee business critical relationships with federal regulators, including Canada Revenue Agency, Finance Canada and other federal departments.
- Build and retain key relationships with legislators across all parties concerned with technology, tax and financial services public policy.
- Develop and implement strategies to shape government policy on issues impacting Intuit's business.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments.
- Provide advice and counsel to Intuit's business leaders on government and regulatory issues and opportunities.
- Represent Intuit at industry events and conferences.

Greater Toronto Area $TBD

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in relevant government, consultancy, or public policy roles.
- Strong understanding of Canadian government and regulatory processes.
- Experience working with the Canada Revenue Agency is desired/preferential but strong experience in a heavily regulated sector is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build, maintain and shape outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- French speaking ability is an asset.
