Job Description

The Department:

The Paid Media Manager, Invesco QQQ ETF plays a crucial role in helping amplify Invesco QQQ, and connect our target audiences to its core messages in ways and places that break through the daily bombardment of clutter in the asset management category.

Your Role:

The objective of this role is to translate business needs and marketing objectives to Invesco QQQ’s media agency, creating paid media campaigns that drive increased revenue and awareness of Invesco QQQ. Based on deep knowledge of both B2B and B2C engagements, the Paid Media Manager will help oversee how Invesco QQQ proof points and key messages are expressed, and how assets are rolled out across all paid media touchpoints (including digital, content partnerships, audio, TV, print, search, social and outdoor). They will create measurable, innovative, audience-first media programs that will put the client at the center of everything we do, demonstrating the differentiated value in delivering a superior investment experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage a team of paid media subject matter experts in driving activation of the Invesco QQQ brand across paid media campaigns, from strategy to execution.

  • Support the Associate Director, in working closely with our marketing partners and stakeholders to develop insight-driven, briefs that inspire our partners to produce breakthrough paid media programs delivered in impactful, measurable ways.

  • Work with media agency and publishing partners to develop breakthrough media experiences, challenging our partners to deliver engagement, not just impressions.

  • Oversee the day-to-day tactical media plan details to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assets, including coordination with creative agencies and oversight of internal socialization and approvals.

  • Manage paid media agency partner relationship to ensure delivery on scope and expectations.

  • Develop campaign KPIs, monitor measurement and performance and optimize media buys based on program performance. Focus on key insights (eg social listening, client feedback, competitive audits) to continuously seek ways to enhance client engagement metrics

  • Manage and track the Invesco QQQ paid media budget to help increase awareness and drive sales for Invesco QQQ ETF. Partner effectively with other Marketing disciplines including Finance, Distribution, Legal and Compliance.

  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitive landscape to develop and refine story programs rooted in client insights and analytics.

  • Must thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess an enthusiastic willingness to roll up their sleeves to positively influence the client experience and continue to drive engagement with Invesco QQQ ETF.

The experience you bring:

  • Results oriented marketer with 6-8 years of experience and a proven track record of creating innovative paid media campaigns that have driven business results, using data and insights to improve client engagement metrics

  • Experience managing 2 or more reports, maintaining careful oversight and accountability of tactical details while focusing on bigger picture strategy

  • Excellent end-to-end project management capabilities from insight to execution

  • Experience defining and managing significant media budgets, including tracking and maintaining large budgets

  • Experience collaborating within a transforming marketing organization, as well as with sales, product, corporate communications, legal and compliance

  • Previous media agency experience a plus, but not required

  • Possess an intellectual curiosity that drives strategic thinking and out of the box ideas

  • Highly collaborative team player who is open minded, flexible and willing to incorporate other people’s opinions

  • Proactive problem-solving skills that lead to innovative thinking and resolutions

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $100k to $125k annually.
