Job Description

The Department:

We are seeking an organized, creative and driven marketer ready to step into a critical marketing role as Invesco QQQ ETF Product Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate has up to five years of marketing experience; asset management or financial services experience a plus.

Your Role:

This is an opportunity for an aspiring, hard-working and collaborative marketer to support execution while helping to inform the marketing approach and strategy. You will be developing a good understanding of the clients and their needs, are passionate about trends, innovation and new thinking affecting investment professionals, and enjoy measuring and refining executions to positively influence client behavior. You will collaborate with the Invesco QQQ team to ensure a differentiated and impactful program is put in place with the goals of growing the Invesco QQQ ETF business and improving the client experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Partner with the Invesco QQQ Marketing team and the WMI Marketing team to help ideate and develop our Invesco QQQ Advisor and Direct Investor Marketing plan

  • Execute marketing campaigns in partnership with business partners and subject matter experts, leveraging the full marketing mix including email, digital, events, paid/earned media and sales enablement to support client needs and business priorities

  • Partner with marketing and sales colleagues to understand key audience segments and help inform the appropriate positioning for them, and messaging across the client purchase journey

  • Work closely with the Invesco QQQ data and analytics to define audiences, approach, and success metrics and help create dashboards to support campaigns and program

  • Manage content and creative production to help deliver successful campaigns in a timely manner, ensuring all approvals have been captured and logged appropriately

  • Support the gathering and organization of insights from in-market campaigns to support the team as they brief in new content creation and campaign adjustments quickly and efficiently

  • Supporting the development of creative briefs and program plans promoting Invesco QQQ ETF, where you are accountable for execution of tactics, working with key marketing team members across Invesco QQQ Product Specialists, Digital, Email automation, Design, Social, Events, Advertising, and Media Relations

  • Support proprietary and industry events and conference sponsorships

  • Cultivate internal relationships where you can contribute to continual improvement of marketing programs

  • Contribute ideas for improving programs/processes and trying new approaches, acquiring a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and client type nuances

  • Work with the Compliance, Procurement and Legal teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are being met internally and externally

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field is preferred.

  • 4-6 years of work experience in a product or financial services marketing

  • Prior experience in customer service, advertising, public relations or online marketing an asset

  • Interest in and some experience managing projects, working with teams, and a desire to learn more about brand and product marketing

  • Must exude a passion for storytelling, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess an enthusiastic willingness to positively influence the client experience and continue to drive engagement with Invesco QQQ

  • Must be a creative thinker who is capable of generating actionable ideas across multimedia, with the practical skills to help bring them to life

  • Should have familiarity with the various avenues used to reach audiences with content and how to optimize content depending on the platform

  • Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environment with track record of mobilizing teams in the face of ambiguity and time pressure.

  • Travel may be required (~10%)

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $100k to $120k annually.
