Your Team
The Stability Central Support Services Team is the epitome of delivering superior services to Invesco. As our defense team, we proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring business continuity and the stability of our technology platforms. By partnering with Tech teams, we drive seamless customer service excellence and elevate our operational standards.
Your Role:
In your role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing monitoring governance frameworks for our technology products. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure all the components are onboarded. Design and implementing, managing, and monitoring measures to protect our Infrastructure & applications. You will be looking after, Incidents and requests from business and technology teams. You will also ensure each of business-critical apps are stable for business to perform their business-as-usual activities. In this role you will be exposed to breadth of tools and technology used across Tech functions.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Create and implement policies and procedures to meet business needs.
- Define an observability strategy for cloud and on-premises systems, focusing on reliability, scalability, and proactive alerting.
- Develop and maintain an end-to-end monitoring framework that supports business needs and ensures compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Work with IT infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to build and manage dashboards, alerts, and logging solutions for a holistic view of system health.
- Align monitoring initiatives with business goals by identifying enterprise strategy and securing stakeholder alignment.
- Stay current with new tools and technologies in the observability and log management space, evaluating their applicability to the environment.
- Optimize existing automation solutions for performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the team strategy as part of the Central Support Services Leadership Group, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of monitoring engineers, providing technical guidance, training, and professional development.
- Ensure ongoing operational needs are met through appropriate staff development, including training, performance reviews, recruitment, and regular team meetings.
- Oversee the maintenance, license renewal, and upkeep of monitoring products and associated infrastructure.
- Ensure service delivery (incidents, changes, problem records, service requests) adheres to industry best practices like ITIL or approved operational processes.
- Supervise the overall operational activities of the CSS team within the respective region, ensuring the highest levels of client service, system availability, and support.
- Proactively contact stakeholders when production services are significantly delayed or impacted.
- Generate reports and dashboards based on monitoring data, providing meaningful insights and analytics for action.
- Maintain and update documentation to ensure clear, concise, and accurate information is available for incident resolution.
- Regularly review team procedures to ensure compliance, including the Business/Disaster Recovery program.
- Continuously improve operational standards to ensure the team works as efficiently as possible.
Other Expectations
- Attend scheduled meetings with Team Lead/Department/Town Hall representation
- Become familiar with company methodologies
- Actively participate with Team Lead in creating personal development plan
- Provide the Team Lead with ideas to enhance or improve team processes and procedures and ensure agreed procedures are followed
- Attend scheduled training sessions
- Administrative activities – time sheets/compliance requests
The Experience You Bring:
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 10+ years of experience in delivering Enterprise Monitoring solutions and IT NOC with exposure on various Technology solutions. (or equivalent experience).
- Must possess an up-to-date understanding of all On Prem and Cloud technologies and an excellent technical knowledge
- Expertise in the administration, support, and operation of the Splunk Cloud, Splunk Observability, BigPanda, Orion SolarWinds platform including Network Performance Monitor, Network Configuration Manager, Server & Application Monitor, NetFlow Traffic Analyzer and IP Address Manager
- Expertise in the use of network management protocols (e.g. SNMP, SNMP Traps, Syslog, ICMP, NetFlow.)
- Through understanding of IT Ops architecture and implementation knowledge
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, encryption, SIEM, IAM).
- Strong understanding of network security, application security, and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- BTech in Computer Science or bachelor’s degree in computer science
