Job Description

Your Team

Hyderabad Global Real Estate team supports real estate team, in coordination with ex-India colleagues, support functions by providing timely and high-quality client reports for Institutional/ Retail Clients; the candidate will focus on developing, managing and executing operational processes and tasks in support of Global Real Estate teams. Other qualifications and requirements given below:

Your Role

  • Oversee the operational aspects of support to various teams spread across globe

  • Job duties associated with Operations/Investor reporting function in addition expected to have knowledge and insight about Fund Operations, Asset management and support to marketing team, Underwriting, Research, Performance.

  • Review processes regularly to ensure adequate documentation, and back up for each activity

  • Continuously monitor service delivery, ensure team is adequately staffed, plan capability development and training

  • Proactively identify issues and collaborate timely with management to resolve them

  • Ensure team executes all assignments in accordance with agreed quality and within timelines

  • Proactively contribute ideas and participate in the continual improvement initiatives

  • Train team members and groom them to be Subject Matter experts

  • Proactively identify potential operational risks, suggest mitigation strategy to manager and lead the implementation of the agreed upon mitigation strategy

  • Work as part of a team, ensuring SLA’s (Service Level Agreement), all relevant regulations are met and maintained, escalating issues to Supervisors / Team Managers.

  • Develop key metrics which are useful to measure and control processes and identify any deviation with expected quality of deliverables

  • Build and maintain excellent relationship with counterparts

  • Proactive to identify issues and provide resolution to stake holders

  • Support Private Market team on current & future projects on need basis

  • Guide and direct people managers in conducting annual performance and development reviews, directing them, empowering them and making them accountable

  • Identify successors at various levels in the team, provide direction and commit to their development and ensure the teams are engaged and motivated all the times

  • Support talent acquisition, development and retention efforts of GRE

  • Managing people issues related to attitude and behavioral issues to ensure those are not affecting final deliverable.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to critically review existing policies and procedures or processes.

The Experience You Bring

  • Should have experience in and in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate funds/Investment management Industry experience.

  • Experience in fund reporting, accounting, real estate, fund administration is preferred

  • Minimum Graduate or MBA in finance with outstanding academic achievements

  • 10 to 15 year’s experience in people management, capability development, hiring and coaching

  • Experience in finance, accounting,

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must have strong interests in developing a career in the Private Markets that is real estate

  • Good at analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Highly adaptable, flexible and forward-thinking; result oriented

  • With high learning ability and positive curiosity. Candidate is expected to learn process and domain specific changes.

  • Expertise in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint

Academic requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in B.Com or MBA in finance is preferred.

  • Professional qualification like CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, CWA, CS are preferred
