Job Description
Your Role
As a Designer (Content Production) you will be responsible for the creation and formatting of documents such as brochures, infographics, fillable forms, complex presentation, templates and other types of literature following Invesco’s standards. You will be using the Microsoft Office suite of applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and other tools. An Associate Designer is a agent who creates visually compelling materials for our internal and external clients and also be assisting making the content accessible to everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and become an expert on Invesco brand guidelines; ensure all communications align with the brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
Under limited supervision, provides production and post-production support for marketing sales literature, infographics, fillable forms, presentations and other adhoc requests
Self review all deliverables for layout, consistency and brand compliance; and maintain 100% Quality during all stages
Create Accessible Communications for external facing deliverables (AODA / ADA – WCAG)
Image editing - color correct headshots, fix as per specifics and maintain library (Frontify)
Become proficient in utilising web-based job trafficking system (Aprimo) to manage all production tasks
Work Experience / Knowledge:
2+ years of working experience in graphic design, preferably in a content production team; supporting multiple internal or external clients in a high-traffic design environment
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects) and other relevant design tools
Maintains and builds upon knowledge of industry-standard software for video editing, motion graphics, page layout, infographics, typography, print production and photo manipulation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel)
Working knowledge on image editing and HTML / CSS would be a plus
Familiarity with PDF remediation / Accessibility knowledge (WCAG Guidelines 2.0) is a plus
