Your Role:
The position reports to the Head of Intermediary Sales and forms part of the Intermediary sales team focusing on generating business from various distribution channels with primary focus on Southeast Asian distribution partners, particularly Thailand.
Key responsibilities include:
- Marketing and selling Invesco funds to various distribution channels including consumer banks, private banks, IFA, insurance companies and family offices in Southeast Asia, namely Thailand.
- Network and relationships with key gatekeepers, relationships with local asset managers and experience with feeder fund fundraising will be a plus
- Building and maintaining the overall relationship with high standard of client service with all levels with our distribution partners
- Provide quality support to distributors
- Assist in exploiting new channels and business opportunities, developing new distribution partnership and pitching new/existing product ideas
- Achieve sales and revenue target as assigned
- Achieve agreed level of client engagement activities
- Representing Invesco as the speaker in different seminars and presenting our market views and investment product ideas professionally
- Work closely with the team in developing new product ideas, product focus and sales ideas to enhance business opportunities
- Communicate effectively to the team and other departments on distributors’ requirements and expectations
- Lead or participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Actively provide market intelligence and analyses for strategic planning and business development
- Work closely with other departments in delivering timely response to the clients
The Experience You Bring:
Our high performing team is seeking candidates who innovate, operate effectively in an agile environment, challenge the status quo and are driven to succeed.
- University degree holder with 7+ years of sales and marketing experience in financial and / or fund products.
- Excellent in interpersonal skills with good connectivity with distributors
- Proven track records in selling to retail banks (branch network / front line selling), gatekeepers of retail banks/ private banks, and private bankers.
- Good technical knowledge in investment
- Good communication skills and a good presenter
- Computer skills, both numeric (essential) and creative
- Accurate, articulate, presentable.
- Innovativeness in coming up with new ideas in response to prospects’ needs
- Good time management skills
- Strong team player
- Fluency in Thai and excellent spoken and written English.
