The Data Architecture Team is seeking candidates who innovate, operate effectively in an agile environment, challenge the status quo, and are driven to succeed.

Your Role:

We’re seeking a Principal Data Architect with an Analytics focus to join our Global Data Architecture team within Enterprise Architecture that supports our Investments, Distributions, and Corporate data and analytics architecture requirements. You will drive Data and Analytics Architecture and capability uplift alongside a dynamic and collaborative team that wants to partner with you because you know the leading methods, tools, and theories in analytics and architecture. The focus of this role will be to manage the capability lifecycle management for Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics, create transformational architectures involving analytic solutions, and help to modernize our existing analytic solutions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the architecture direction around analytic capabilities and solution architectures for analytic solutions that require architecture oversight.

  • Ensuring alignment of initiative-level high and low designs against the data/tech architecture standards and strategy and governing adherence to our key principles in this space.

  • Understanding our data structures and initiatives to support data analytics and business intelligence systems better as well as champion new solutions for existing groups who leverage the capabilities

  • Work with Agile Squads, Business, and System Analytics Stakeholders to investigate & perform source data mapping analysis for the purposes of creating new analytic solutions.

  • Communicate designs and explain design features and alternative approaches to internal consumers.

The experience you bring:

  • 8-10 Years Experience as an Information Technology Architect

  • 8-10 Years Experience in the BI/Reporting tooling and solution/design space (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

  • 8-10 Years Experience leveraging self-service data management tooling (alteryx, r-studio, SQL, excel etc.)

  • 8-10 Years Experience building OLAP, ETL data warehouse, and Relational Databases (Creating Analytical Data Models is a bonus)

  • 8-10 Years Experience writing high-performing SQL, and complex queries

  • 3-5 Years Experience working in Cloud-based technology environments, preferably AWS Redshift, Snowflake

  • Exposure and experience with Data Factory, DataBricks, NoSQL modeling, and/or Graph Modeling is nice to have
