Job Description
Your Role:
Invesco is seeking a Head of ETF Specialists, Institutional, and Wealth Platforms. As a global asset manager, Invesco has built a robust ETF product range that includes over 200 US-listed ETFs totaling more than $800 billion in assets under management globally.
The Head of ETF Specialists, Institutional, and Wealth Platforms will be part of Americas Distribution and works with our institutional & wealth platforms sales teams to create consultative-based partnerships with highly sophisticated clients. These clients include Wealth Platforms, Asset Managers, and Asset Owners (e.g. Insurance, Pensions, Foundations, Endowments, DC and DB plans).
The successful candidate must have strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to develop and execute an aspirational strategy. They should have an exceptional understanding of ETFs, the broader ecosystem, and competitive landscape. Also, the successful candidate must be able to collaborate with Invesco’s ‘Team of Teams’ operating model, working closely with Strategic Accounts, Investment Due Diligence, North American Institutional, ETF Research, and many other key stakeholders to deliver a seamless and differentiated client experience.
You Will be Responsible For:
Developing and executing a business strategy to elevate our platform relevance in US Wealth and grow our market share in institutional.
Serving as a leadership voice in the industry on Invesco ETF’s, at conferences, and with client research teams.
Leading a team of experienced ETF Specialists.
Cultivating trust-based relationships with ETF centers of influence at our most important clients.
Providing a ‘voice of the clients’ to Invesco internal stakeholders across investments, product development, ETF Research, Distribution leadership, and more.
Developing client insights needed to better serve highly sophisticated clients.
Providing an active viewpoint to the organization on ETF product management and new product development.
Providing education to a wide range of clients with varying degrees of ETF knowledge on investment strategies, product positioning and portfolio implementation strategies across the Invesco ETF range.
The Experience You Bring:
Undergraduate in business, finance or related discipline required, MBA or CFA preferred
Series 7 & 63 preferred; must obtain within 3 months of hire.
10+ years investment related experience with specific subject matter expertise in ETFs
Minimum of 5 years of client facing or business development experience in a wholesale investment services environment with a proven track record of success
Strong knowledge of and prior experience with ETFs required.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, build strong relationships and execute
Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills
Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain an open-minded, flexible and collaborative approach
Self-motivated, driven and entrepreneurial professional
A passion for capital markets, asset management and ETFs
The salary range for this position in NYC is $250k - $295k/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
Up to 70% travel may be required
