Job Description

As a Fraud Strategy Manager / VP within the Card Acquisitions team, you will be the business representative in fraud mitigation initiatives, advocating for the customer experience in balance with risk mitigation strategies. You will own 2-3 customer facing experiences, partnering with marketing, risk, product, and operations teams, and presenting up to Managing Director-level leadership. Additionally, you will inform broader line-of-business strategy recommendations, identifying lessons learned from the customer touch-points you own, and socializing broader take-aways in large working-groups to inform product roadmaps and annual planning.

Job responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap development and delivery for 2-3 customer-facing experiences critical to mitigating fraud and driving account and O/S growth
  • Business judgment: develop recommendations on how to balance trade-offs between fraud mitigation, customer experience, and growth targets in specific channels, in consultation and in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Analytics & Insights: generate holistic insights leveraging fraud, financial, and business data
  • Strategy: partner with risk, product, tech, and business teams to develop shared roadmaps and success metrics
  • Track and deliver on KPIs: own reporting for key workstreams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years in finance, business analytics, strategy, or consulting field
  • Experience developing insights & data grounded strategy recommendations
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to identify business opportunities, deliver results, and adjust plans as appropriate
  • Stakeholder management: experience building a shared vision across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent executive communication skills: produces clear and succinct briefing materials and verbal communications to audiences up to the managing director level
  • Strong result orientation: successfully engages diverse groups of colleagues and suppliers to deliver on a shared roadmap

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in financial services, risk mitigation, and/or marketing preference
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to drive and execute an agenda with a cross-functional team
  • Be collaborative and build strong relationships across the organization
  • Manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to express ideas in a confident, clear, and compelling way
