As a Global Custody Asset Servicing VP in the WHEM Asset Servicing team you will be responsible to manage the multiple teams performing day to day Operations of Global Custody Corporate Action including Instruction, Completions, Reconciliation and Proxy management for Western Hemisphere markets. This role will require a high ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple initiatives, Identify and develop solutions that address the needs of our clients/customers /stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations.
  • Monitor internal and external client inquiries, resolve non-routine issues and closely partner with internal teams to resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Partner across wider global team and technology to identify product enhancements and technology improvement opportunities.
  • Manage Corporate Actions related Projects with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Teams and manage client expectations and concerns, with focus on delivering unparalleled client experience.
  • Provide operations subject matter expertise and value-added services to clients where needed.
  • Conducting quarterly and year end evaluations, manage team performance and attendance.
  • Hire, onboard and train staff.
  • Perform Audit reviews.
  • Build strong company culture.

Required qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 4+ years Prior corporate action experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven people/operational management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of voluntary corporate actions/Proxy services and full asset servicing lifecycle for corporate actions.
  • Strong understanding of Corporate Actions related Swift messaging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with management, clients, and colleagues.
  • Operate effectively in a tight deadline environment.
  • Successful performance in a risk-based environment with a proven track record of risk reduction.
  • Results based experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinking.
